Project overview

An tSeaneaglais

The former Presbyterian Church on Great James’ Street has been known by numerous names; Second Derry Presbyterian, Third Derry, the Scots Church, Great James Street Presbyterian and most recently, the Glassworks.

After more than a decade of neglect, this stunning church is about to undergo another transformation as work begins to restore the building and bring it back into use as a vibrant and innovative Arts and Cultural centre with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, and community.

With spaces for the Arts, music, exhibitions, education, heritage and shared cultural experiences, the building will become a destination venue catering for all sections of the community throughout the wider North West region and beyond.
