"The Year in Ireland with Edwina Guckian, Caitín Nic Gabhann and Áirc Damhsa."

An hour long concert delving into the role of music and dance in pagan Irish calendar customs.

Áirc Damhsa was established in 2004 by dancer and choreographer Edwina Guckian from Drumsna, Co. Leitrim. It features young dancers and musicians performing a wide range of styles of Irish dance, music and song. Members of Áirc Damhsa have performed for the president of Ireland, won All Ireland Set & Sean Nós Dancing titles at the Oireachtas and Fleadh Cheoil and as well as being cast in world renowned film “Jimmy’s Hall” by Ken Loach.

Please note that doors will open at 7.30pm, for the show to start at 8pm sharp.
