This concert is an opportunity to share in the ongoing project “Meadows of Song and Dance” which takes place in dementia units in care homes in the Derry area. The aim of the project is to help combat isolation, loneliness and social exclusion, by providing opportunities for older people to participate in arts and creative activities, in particular music, singing but also through movement.

The “Meadows of Song and Dance” project is supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland’s Arts and Older People programme and by the Baring Foundation.
