Bilingual Yoga

This is a beginner Yoga class with a focus on the relevant Irish language such as body parts, action words and movement. We begin the class by briefly going through the language and then move on to centring, breathing, yoga practice and guided meditation. The instructions are given first in English and then in Irish, which makes it accessible to all levels of Irish learners.



Classes will run this Spring for 6 weeks from 25 April -  30 May on Tuesday evenings 7.30pm – 8.45pm. There is no charge for the class, voluntary donations are accepted. No booking necessary. We have a limited amount of yoga mats available, but you are encouraged to bring your own if possible. The classes are all led by Sara Kadar.

About Sara

Sara is half Irish, born in Derry, and half Indian from Kerala in South India. She is a lifetime practitioner of Yoga and has been teaching languages since 2005. She has a special interest in the connection between Irish language and Sanskrit, the language of Yoga.
