Club Óige Setanta Youth Club

Join Our Youth Club!

Club Óige Setanta is an Irish language youth group which provides youth services for young people who are attending or have attended Irish medium schools. We offer an attractive programme throughout the year which meets the needs of the young people.

We hold weekly sessions during the academic year where our young people can avail of a range of sport facilities, computer games, take part in team building exercises, arts and crafts projects, and generally socialise and meet new friends from other Gaelscoils in the area, in an inviting safe environment where they can use their Irish informally.

As well as the weekly sessions, registered members are given the opportunity to take part in multiple outings throughout the year to various places to include activities such as Wall climbing, Orienteering, swimming, Farm visits, Trampolining, Bowling and much more. There are disco’s planned throughout the year also which the young people thoroughly enjoy as well as the occasional residential trip.

During the summer months there are schemes organised to keep members immersed in the language during school holidays (while also having lots of fun)!

All sessions are held in the youth club on 33 Great James Street.
